Yes the wristbands do work -I use them often when I'm riding in a closed car. So far I've had no problems in open cars or while driving myself. I wished I'd had them when I was a kid. But on a boat I wear the sea bands, take long acting gravol (dramamine)AND 3 capsules of ginger root 3 times a day.
